Mischa Barton
Most nine-year-olds haven’t thought about what they want to be when they grow up, but Mischa Anne Marsden Barton had already begun to create a successful acting career at such a young age. She compiled a remarkable resume on TV and stage due to her talent and beautiful appearance, making her one of the most promising actors of her generation.
The precocious actress debuted on Broadway in New York, playing the lead in Tony Kushner’s drama Slavs! Barton switched to screen production in search of a new opportunity to advance her career, and she was able to make her feature debut in 1997 with Lawn Dogs. During this time, she worked as a model for Ford Modeling Agency, where she worked on campaigns for Calvin Klein, Gitano, and Vogue, among others. Barton spent the next few years working in film and television productions while attending Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School, where she earned her degree in 2004.
