Gal Gadot

The Israeli beauty, Gal Gadot, may have sealed her acting career by taking on the mantle of Wonder Woman, but she started out as a model. She competed in different beauty pageants, which is not surprising given her physique and natural beauty. Thanks to her participation in the Miss Universe in 2004, Gadot became a successful model in her own right, working with different brands.

After getting her degree, Gadot made an about-turn with her career and pursued acting instead. She auditioned to become a Bond Girl for the film Quantum of Solace, but although this did not pan out, she earned quite a fan base when she became part of the Fast & Furious franchise. She also appeared in Knight & Day and Date Night. The model-turned-actress is known for her skills in martial arts, which have won her part of DC’s Wonder Woman.
