Among his many childhood hobbies, it’s safe to say Adam Sandler always had a special place for acting and comedy in his life. After graduating from Manchester Central High School, Adam proceeded to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He had the chance to learn the ins and outs of acting and overall filmmaking throughout that period.

Before finishing his studies in 1988, Sandler had already made his way into the acting scene. One of his earlier roles was back in 1987 when he portrayed Smitty in The Cosby Show. Along the way, he also landed a stint on Saturday Night Live. Since then, his fame has soared to even greater degrees thanks to his work on comedies such as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, and Click. Besides making people laugh, however, the actor also knows his way around more dramatic stories, which is most apparent with his performances in Punch-Drunk Love and Uncut Gems.
