American filmmaker and actor Bradley Cooper made his film debut in the comedy film Wet Hot American Summer in 2001 and eventually gained recognition in the spy-action television series Alias. In 2009, Cooper got his breakthrough role in the 2009 comedy film The Hangover, which earned success commercially and was followed by two sequels. The actor received praises from critics for his performances in Limitless and The Place Beyond the Pines. Other movies in which Cooper starred include Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, and A Star Is born, among others. His films have grossed $11 billion globally, making him one of the highest-paid actors in the industry. Cooper was awarded eight Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, Tony Award, and BAFTA Award throughout his career.
After graduating high school in 1993, Cooper attended Villanova University for a year before transferring to Georgetown University and graduated with an English degree and later on obtained his master’s in fine arts from The New School.
