Bridgit Mendler | Anthropology

Bridgit Mendler began her career in the animated Indian film The Legend of Buddha. Later on, she starred in films Alice Upside Down, The Clique, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, and Labor Pains. The actress then signed with Disney Channel and portrayed the character of Juliet van Heusen on Wizards of Waverly Place. Mendler landed a role in Disney’s Good Luck Charlie series following the favorable reception of her character. In 2015, she played the role of Candace in the television sitcom Undateable and Nashville as Ashley Willerman.

Apart from her acting, Mendler also released her debut studio album, Hello My Name Is…. It peaked at number thirty on the Billboard Hot 100. She stated that her biggest musical influence is Bob Dylan. Despite her success at a young age, she took a break from Hollywood to attend the University of Southern California and obtain a degreein anthropology.
