Jamie Foxx | Classical Music and Composition

Widely acclaimed for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the 2004 biographical film Ray, Jamie Foxx became the second actor to attain all five major lead actor awards in the same performance. These were the Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, and Critic’s Choice Movie Award. That same year, he was credited with a nomination for Best Supporting Actor on the Academy Award for his performance in the film Collateral. In recent years, the multi-awarded actor has been the host and executive producer of the game show Beat Shazam on the Fox network.

Other films in which Foxx starred were Jarhead, Dreamgirls, Miami Vice, Django Unchained, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Baby Driver, and Annie. Previously, Foxx attended Terrel High School, where he received top grades and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the United States International Studies.
