Chris Martin | Greek and Latin
Chris Martin is widely known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Coldplay, as well as the co-founder. The band gained worldwide fame for the song Yellow in 2000, for which they received their first Grammy Award nomination. Coldplay sold more than 100 million albums, including A Rush of Blood to the Head and Viva la Vida, winning a Brit Award and a Grammy Award. Martin went on with his solo career and collaborated with several music artists such as Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and DJ Avicii.
Apart from singing, Martin also made cameo appearances in a couple of television shows and big-screen films such as The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, Shaun of the Dead, and Bruno, to name a few. Back in college, Martin attended the University College London and graduated with a degree in Greek and Latin.
