Will Ferrell | Sports Information
American comedian, writer, producer, and actor Will Ferrell established himself in the mid-1990s as a cast of the sketch comedy Saturday Night Live on NBC network and subsequently starred in films such as Elf, Kicking & Screaming, Semi-Pro, and Land of the Lost, among others. In 2007, Ferrell founded the comedy website Funny or Die with his writing partner, Adam McKay. Other notable films Ferrell starred in were The Other Guys, The Campaign, Get Hard, Holmes & Watson, Curious George, and Megamind. Considered as a member of the Frat Pack and other actors such as Jack Black, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, and Ben Stiller, Ferell belongs to a generation of leading Hollywood comic actors that emerged in the late 1990s and 2000s.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in sports information, Ferrell decided not to do broadcasting, so he took jobs like a hotel valet and a Wells Fargo teller. Credit to his mother, he was encouraged to pursue something he liked and eventually became successful in the entertainment industry.
