David Duchovny | English Literature

Born David William Duchovny, David Duchovny is perhaps more than what meets the eye of most people. In 1996, the X-Files actor credited a spot in the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. He is also best known for starring in Californication. It is worth noting that the actor has earned Golden Globes from his roles on the shows mentioned above.

Aside from his piercing looks that can incite insecurity, the actor is also an academic beast (and was part of his college’s basketball and baseball varsity team!). David left Princeton University with a degree in English Literature, and he often spent his time writing poetry. In 1982, one of his works was recognized by the Academy of American Poets. However, a bachelor’s degree did not seem to be enough for David. He continued with his postgraduate studies at Yale University, where he became a Master’s degree holder.
