Rachel Weisz | English
Even before making her way to the spotlight, Rachel Weisz was already attracting plenty of public attention. Along with landing a couple of modeling gigs when she was 14 years old, she was also close to starring alongside Richard Gere in the 1985 film, King David but ultimately turned the offer down. Not long after, she majored in English at Cambridge’s Trinity Hall. Throughout her college years, she also worked on some student productions, beginning her journey in becoming an established actress.
Debuting with performances on stage plays and TV shows, Weisz got her film debut in 1994 with a part in Death Machine. Nowadays, though, she is often associated with her on-screen persona in The Mummy movies. With that said, a couple of other projects she’s landed acting credits for include The Bourne Legacy, The Favourite, Enemy at the Gates, and The Constant Gardener, which won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
