Eva Longoria | Chicano Studies

Eva Longoria didn’t just attend class and study during her high school years– she also had a part-time job at a Wendy’s restaurant. While it may have only been for a brief period, the experience helped her develop a disciplined work ethic. Well, with the gift of retrospect, it’s safe to say all that hard work has since become quite a significant investment for her career in the entertainment industry.

Nowadays, Eva is most known for her performance in The Young and the Restless and Desperate Housewives TV shows, though she’s also starred in films such as Dog Days and Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Along the way, however, the actress also finished her master’s degree course in Chicano Studies. As its name suggests, it’s the study of the Chicano culture and its various aspects, including history and literature. With that in mind, it’s no surprise Eva also works on projects revolving around different kinds of social issues.
