Colin Hanks | Tom Hanks’s Son

Colin Hanks has undoubtedly followed in his father’s footsteps. Born in 1977 to Tom Hanks and Samantha Lewis, Colin has expressed his desire for acting early on. Despite no earning a degree during his college years, he managed to start his career in earnest in 1996, with a minor role in his father’s film, The Thing You Do! Colin got his breakthrough role three years later when the actor got the part of Alex Whitman in Roswell. He made his official film debut in 2002 when he appeared in the comedy film Orange County.

Colin subsequently appeared in numerous TV series and films. Among them include Dexter, Mad Men, The Great Buck Howard, and King Kong. In addition to live-action, Hanks has lent his voice in Talking Tom and Friends. In addition, he has also done some directing work, with his well-received documentary, The Rise and Fall of Tower Records, released in mid-2015.
