The news anchor shares his son with former Benjamin Maisani. The two stayed with each other for nine strong years and decided to have a baby through surrogacy at the tail end of their relationship. Unfortunately, Cooper and Maisani broke up two years before the birth of their son. When Wyatt was born in 2020, the couple still decided to co-parent the adorable little boy and work for hand in hand to provide for the child’s insurance.It’s an interesting setup, but not uncommon in places like the United States.
