A few pages back, we talked about how reality programs continue to garner a high degree of attention from audiences worldwide. Well, besides revolving around the daily lives of families, some shows under this category also take place in a competition setting.

One such example would be the Bachelor franchise, including its spin-offs. The show has introduced viewers to numerous people since its first season. This includes Bachelor season 21 contestant Astrid Loch and her now-husband Kevin Wendt, who competed in Bachelorette season 1 and Bachelor in Paradise season 5. After their stint on the show ended, the two have spent most of their time on their family. Along with recently purchasing a new home in Toronto, the couple also has an adorable dog named Ace. Adopted from a shelter, Ace has since become a celebrity in her own right, thanks to her frequent appearance on the couple’s social media pages.
